In preparation for the new academic year and in line with this year’s theme for personnel development “Go forth, Go within: Augustinians Journey for Truth,” the entire CSA personnel attended a whole-day Seminar on Managing Change last May 17, 2013, held at the audi-gym. Two specialists from RAdelosReyes Management Consultancy served as resource speakers. They were Dr. Rodolfo “Dups” de los Reyes and Ms. Ivy Rose S. Villanueva, MBA.

Dr. Dups, whose talk is entitled “The EQ Context of Managing Change,” is an award-winning international presenter and a highly-acclaimed professional and corporate trainer on self-empowerment, communication, leadership and management. He highlighted four EQ keystones which included self-awareness, relations, resilience & depth, and self-actualization & optimism. Ms. Villanueva, on the other hand is a strategic human resource management practitioner.

She is the Executive Director for Vista Land and Lifescapes, Inc. who heads its Center for Professional Development. She discussed in detail during the seminar different positive and negative levels of people’s reactions to change with her topic on “Managing Change.”

Everyone seemed to have enjoyed Dr. Dups sharing, injected with clean fun humor while relishing the extensive and delightful talk of the smart and equally pretty Ms. Ivy. Rev. Fr. Andrew P. Batayola, OSA officially welcomed the participants early on in the seminar, as well as handed the certificate of appreciation to the speakers during the closing ceremony.
