Personnel Recollection (College, Non-Teaching Personnel)

The third batch for the Personnel Recollection happened last October 4, 2014. Employees from the College and Non-Teaching Personnel Departments were the ones who participated in the recollection facilitated by Rev. Fr. Arnel Antonio S. Dizon, OSA. Held at the College Auditorium from 7:30 AM until 12:00 noon, Fr. Dizon discussed the life of Saint Thomas of Villanova. Afterwards, the Eucharistic celebration ended the morning’s activities leaving the college personnel with renewed faith in God.

 
Augustinian Youth Jamboree

Over 800 youth delegates gathered in the overnight activity of the Augustinian Youth Jamboree 2014 held last November 27-28 in the CSA Audigym from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The participants came from Assumpta Academy-Bulacan, Augustinian Sisters Servants of Jesus & Mary-San Pedro, Colegio San Agustin-Makati, La Consolacion-Biñan, La Consolacion-Pasig, and our very own Colegio San Agustin-Biñan. The jamboree provided the youth with different activities such as the opening activities like the Paraliturgy, Cheers and Yells in the Roll Call and a Grand Opening Dance Presentation. A Talk on Unitas followed wherein the participants had a group dynamics processing and sharing of group outputs. This was followed by a Taize prayer. Other activities that were done were games, cultural presentation, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and Closing Activities. The participants might have been deprived of enough sleep but went home feeling renewed and happy with the new friends they had met.

The Committee on Augustinian Youth Jamboree was spearheaded by Rev. Fr. Jose R. Gonzales, OSA and Rev. Fr. Aimark P. Asor & Rev. , OSA.

 
Rides and Booths Fair

Augustinians were treated to a week of fun and excitement as the Rides and Booths Fair was held from August 26 – 29, 2014. Rev. Edgardo L. Lazo, OSA blessed the rides and booths last August 26 in the CSA Field. Among these rides were the Ferris Wheel, Flying Bees, and Butterfly Roller Coaster. Different booths could also be seen such as the stalls of fast food, toys, and souvenir items among others.

 
Tree Replanting Activity (Batch 3)

Selected personnel from the Non-Teaching, Academic Non-Teaching and Maintenance departments of the institution took part in the third and final batch of the Tree Replanting activity held last November 7, 2014. This is in celebration of the 30th Founding Anniversary of the institution. Each personnel took part in the planting of saplings in Matang Tubig Spring located in Cabuyao, Laguna. The community seeks to continue this environmental advocacy in the future.
